That is what everything I have read makes it sound like. At the time I rebuilt the raid and reformatted the pc to resolve.I swore to avoid apple software for the time being but recently I was tempted to put itunes back What I had meant was what would happen if I had go into 'Computer management console'->'Device Manager'->'SCSI and RAID controllers' and disabled one of the controllers then restarted the computer? Glad to see others have had this problem and resolved it. check over here

Once I got the system running on the new drive, I installed the old drives as seperate drives, and lo and behold, one of the drives started reporting a SMART error.! In besagtem “Intel Matrix Storage Manager” habe ich nun zuerst beide physikalischen Laufwerke als funktionsfähig markiert und dann noch auf dem Array den Rückschreibecache aktiviert. I learned the same way and with it being in Raid 5 at the time it took around 7 hours to check it for errors.. have a peek at these guys After shutting down iTunes, I go to the start menu, right click on the Intel Matrix, 'Open as administrator', open 'Advanced options', right-click on the drive in err, and select 'Set
